Episode description and notes
Awais Ul Haq I Help Lawyers Stop Being Clueless About Tech & AI Who I Am & My Story From Hard Hats to High Tech: Started as a Civil Engineer, ditched the $60k job 'cause of all the corruption. Teacher Life: Became a Physics teacher, then jumped into the tech world for compliant industries (like law). The Hustle is Real: Worked for an edtech startup for zero pay for 3 months! Then they started paying me a whopping $5 a month. But hey, in a year, I was making $1000. Sold the Tutoring Gig: Built my own tutoring business from 2021 to 2024. Hit six figures and then sold it off to an investor in the UAE. Sweet! Scammed, Then Succeeded: Got ripped off by a software company while trying to build an LMS. Instead of giving up, I hired some devs and a CTO, fixed the product, and scaled it to 300 schools in one year! My New Mission: Legal Tech: Now I'm focused on helping law firm partners and managers figure out the confusing world of tech. They're competitive and often clueless about this stuff. My Expertise: I help legal tech founders with AI, growth marketing, workflow automation, and figuring out whether they need an off-the-shelf SaaS or a custom layer built.
