Privacy Policy and cookie notice

Information this website uses

This website does not currently run a site analytics script or collect newsletter addresses directly. The public YouTube statistics cache and dismissal of this notice are stored in your browser using local storage. The site does not use that storage to identify you.

If you email Universal Podcast Network, your message and email address are handled through your own email service and the recipient’s email provider. Newsletter subscriptions are managed by Substack, which has its own privacy practices.

Cookies and third-party services

The site itself does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies. External links and audio, video, podcast, or social services may set cookies or use similar storage when you open or interact with their services. Their practices are governed by their own privacy notices. You can manage browser storage and cookies in your browser settings.

Guest and campaign enquiry forms

When you submit an enquiry, UPN stores your name, email address, optional organization and website, proposed topic, preferred show, enquiry type, additional details, submission time, reference number, and consent version in the website’s Cloudflare D1 database. A successful form response means the record was saved. The form does not automatically send an email or subscribe you to marketing.

These details support review and response to your enquiry. The inbox is restricted to the configured UPN administrator through ChatGPT sign-in. The form uses a hidden spam field and limits repeated submissions by email address. Avoid entering sensitive personal information.

Enquiry data retention period: [PLACEHOLDER — owner to confirm retention period and deletion policy]. Ask Daniel about access, correction, or removal using the email below; applicable requirements and the request will need review. Email service, hosting, and other providers have their own privacy practices.

UPN Assistant

If you submit a question through the UPN Assistant and its internet search runs, the question is sent through this website to Wikipedia’s search service. Do not submit confidential information. Search results can be incomplete.

Payments

Paid promotional features link to Stripe for checkout. If you choose to use that service, the information you enter is collected and processed by Stripe under its own terms and privacy notice. UPN does not receive your payment card details through this website. Guest, advertising, and other inquiries can be sent by email.

Your choices and questions

You can block or clear local storage and cookies in your browser. Doing so may cause this notice to reappear and may prevent the browser from retaining the public counter cache. For privacy questions, contact daniel@universalpodcasts.com.
