Episode description and notes

Stuart Jones Author of For the Love of Stephen | Redefining Disability, Dignity & What It Means to Be Fully Human I'm not coming to your podcast with theory—I'm coming with a story that has been lived. I'm the author of For the Love of Stephen, a memoir about my brother who lived with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with a foreword by Dr. Temple Grandin and now included in the Library of Congress. His life—and his loss—reshaped how I understand dignity, belonging, faith, and what it truly means to be human. Professionally, I spent my early career as a minister, then spent 30 years in executive leadership in higher education, and now teach speech communication part-time at the university level. I've had the opportunity to speak with audiences across the country and appear on podcasts, where I'm known for thoughtful, engaging, and often unexpectedly humorous conversations. On your podcast, I help listeners rethink disability, challenge assumptions, deepen empathy, and see others—and themselves—through a more human and inclusive lens. If your audience is open to a conversation that is heartfelt, honest, and perspective-changing, I would be honored to join you.
